About Little Treasures Creche & Montessori Schools

Little Treasures Crèche and Montessori School a citadel of learning located at No. 25 and 36 Goodness Estate, Off Arulogun Road is a school where God’s given abilities are being fostered in our children through the MONTESSORI system we operate which is a child-centred educational approach based on scientific observations of children.

On the 16th of September 2013, LITTLE TREASURES CRECHE AND RECREATION CENTRE, now known as LITTLE TREASURES CRECHE AND MONTESSORI SCHOOL, was established and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with the permanent address as 36, Goodness Estate, Arulogun Road, Ojoo, Ibadan.

The school was commissioned and officially opened on the 7th December, 2013 by Chief Mrs Janet Adeyemo, the wife of the then Deputy Governor of Oyo State.
The school commenced in 2013/2014 with 17 pupils and 9 pioneer members of staff.
The Proprietor vision and philosophy to education was higher than what was attainable in her vicinity. There was no school in the area that was doing what she deemed fit to call quality education which can stand the test of time and compete both locally and at international level.

She adopted a Montessori System of Education which is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children who are naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment.

All these are coupled with enriched curricula, extra-curricular activities, athletic programs, high moral and religious values which are affordable in our friendly, conducive environment and safe with the aid of teachers who are motherly, professional, experienced and supportive.

The Need For A Basic School

Being a proactive school that wants the best for the children and also values the views of parents, the intention to secure the future of the pupils after a solid foundation brought about the need for a Basic School. The structures of the school undergo renovations to accommodate the envisaged basic school which we started in September, 2015.

Our aim was not solely centered on academics but also to develop a complete child by enhancing his or her physical, mental, moral and social well being.  This prompted us to further think of a way of creating a spacious environment for both learning and recreation.

To the glory of God, a new structure was erected at 25, Goodness Estate, Arulogun Road, Ojoo, Ibadan, for the basic 1 – 5 pupils, on the 13th December 2017.
